How to do a Whole Body Cleanse

 

A whole body cleanse works by detoxifying the entire body. It will clean out the toxins from your intestines, gall bladder, liver, your circulatory system and your lymphatic system. Most of the formulations sold today that are used for whole body cleansing contain all-natural herbs and plants which will not harm the body in any way. This is a very easy way for you to restore the balance that your body was born with in a very short time, usually around two weeks. You must remember that you will be getting rid of many years worth of accumulated toxins, and this cannot be done overnight.

A whole body cleanse will –

• Restore the regularity of the body

• Clean out your intestinal tract

• Re-establish the body’s own natural inner cleaning process

• Clear out the toxins from your liver and gall bladder


What do you use for a whole body cleanse? There are two separate and distinct phases of a cleanse that you should be aware of. These are –

• The cleansing phase

• The transition phase

During the cleansing phase, which lasts for the first week, you will take a natural herbal laxative that will wipe the intestines clean, getting rid of all the toxins and the buildup of any feces. Along with this is a fiber product which absorbs the toxins and holds onto them in preparation for their exit from your body. Finally, you will take yet another herbal product, this one to help eliminate the toxins and buildup by stimulating the liver to increase the flow of bile. These three natural herbal compounds are taken daily.

The laxative compound cleanses your bowel thoroughly. It consists of –

• Magnesium hydroxide
• Slippery Elm Bark
• Marshmallow Root
• Peppermint Leaf
• Burdock
• Red Clover

The fiber that you will take as a part of your whole body cleanse will grab hold of all the toxins that were swept off your intestinal walls by the laxative and make sure they are all efficiently removed from your body along with all of the other waste products. This fiber will also help your colon to work as nature meant for it to.  What kind of fiber is best for a whole body cleanse?

• Oat Bran
• Psyllium Husk

Both of these are the best for two reasons. Oat bran has been found to be a more soluble fiber than any other kind of fiber there is. Psyllium seems to absorb a lot more “stuff” once it gets down into the bowel. As a cleansing team, these two just can’t be beat!

Next, you will need a herbal bouquet that will help to detoxify several very important organs, namely your liver and gall bladder. Once the laxative and fiber has gone to work, a lot of gunk in the form of excreta and toxins are stirred up. Since the liver is the filtering station of the body, it will try to step in and get rid of this gunk. This process could severely tax your liver, so you need to make sure to protect it. These herbs will make sure everything that needs to be elimination is passed through the digestive system quickly. What are they called?

• Milk Thistle. This herb is well known for the support it gives to the liver during times of stress. It is also one of the most powerful antioxidants in nature.
• Licorice
• Dandelion

Licorice and dandelion stimulate the flow of bile, an important concept in your whole body cleanse. When the liver gets involved with the cleanse and begins to filter out the toxins from your body, bile is necessary to carry them from the liver to the intestines so they can exit the body.

Along with these herbs, it is very important to drink as much pure, fresh water throughout the day as you can manage. A whole body cleanse will leave you refreshed and feeling like a new person in no time!
