When you are on a journey to loosing your love handles, there are several foundational steps you must take in order to properly, and quickly, shed the layers of fat that make up your love handles. The first step is to make sure that you perform regular cardiovascular and weight lifting exercises, however, the most important step in loosing weight starts in the kitchen. You body can be tightened and toned in the gym, however, if you want to receive true results and have a healthy body, than you must start at your food pantry. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of diets that promise you your love handles will disappear, however, most of these diets fall short of living a healthy lifestyle.

Protein is what your muscles use to make themselves stronger and faster. When you are working out regularly, your muscles are going to need a lot of attention, and by feeding them high-quality protein they will be able to rebuild themselves and recover from workouts quicker. Another tip in loosing your love handles through diet, is by staying away from empty calories. Empty calories are those that you find in soft drinks, candy and any other type of food like this. These are calories that are put inside of your body, but they really don’t have any nutritional value at all.
Concerning when you should eat, the three-meals-a-day plan is simply outdated. If you want to keep your metabolism high, which helps burn away the fat in your love handles and throughout your body, than you must eat every couple of hours. Don’t have a full-blown meal every two hours, but rather small, healthy meals that can even consist of a protein shake or meal replacement bar. When you do this, you will quickly learn that your energy level will sustain itself all throughout the day, and you will keep your body from storing onto fat for energy, because it is constantly receiving an intake of high-quality foods.
Controlling your body fat through diet is extremely important. However, by performing numerous “fad diets” you can actually damage your metabolism, making it extremely difficult to loose your love handles. However, by eating healthy and correctly everyday, you are able to construct a metabolism and body that burns fat quickly and shrinks your love handles in record time.
