With so many chemicals that are in the environment these days, one never really knows everything that is digested into the body. One day the news tells us there are pesticides all over the fruits. The next day, we hear that our make-up might have numerous unknown carcinogens in it. A natural detox is a type of detox diet that usually does not involve packaged foods that are put together by some company. A person who goes on a natural detox makes big changes to their diet that in the end significantly aid in the elimination of toxins from the body.
A person who goes on a natural detox will consume large amounts of water, approximately two quarts a day. It’s good advice not to drink the water too late in the day, or you’ll be waking up at all hours of the night to urinate.

While taking all of the above into account, it’s important to remember that all of these foods and procedures are not to be done all at once and then forgotten about. It is good to do a natural detox about once a year and for about 13 days at a time.
It is possible that during a natural detox, your body may feel worse after the first few days. But ignore any symptoms you experience. They are only the body’s natural reaction to the elimination of toxins.
